Becky Farone, a distinguished career change coach and founder of Fireworks Coaching, specializes in guiding professional women over 40 (and men) in navigating career transitions. Utilizing design thinking principles, Becky aids her clients in making crucial decisions about whether to stay in or leave stressful jobs and determining their next steps.

With over three decades of experience in the IT and software industries, Becky has excelled in delivering projects and developing talent within the retail technology and consulting sectors. Her journey into the software world began unexpectedly as a liberal arts major when she joined Microsoft, contributing to the original MS Outlook team. 

Throughout her career, Becky has empowered multidisciplinary teams and executives at prestigious companies such as Nike, Starbucks HQ, Kaiser, and Columbia Sportswear. Her roles have spanned program management, team leadership, usability research, Scrum Master, and Agile coaching. Becky also holds a custom master’s degree in product design from Carnegie Mellon.

Driven by a passion to improve work experiences for others, Becky transitioned to career coaching, receiving training from the Co-Active Training Institute and earning credentials from the International Coaching Federation. She now focuses on helping individuals rebuild confidence and make informed decisions for fulfilling lives.

Originally from Vermont, Becky currently resides near Portland, Oregon, with her husband and their cat.
